Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is rather pale in color and likes to sleep while balancing on one leg.

And look! It has grown wings and a large head crest! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

The Barbershop Quartet hatchlings are a fine group, always traveling together and singing all the while. Their harmony is always in tune, the words never jumbled, and each hatchling knows his part. Their most favorite song to date is "The Anti-Elf Anthem," and they will sing it to any audience, willing or unwilling.

The Soprano is a haughty hatchling with an overblown opinion of himself. He answers only to "The Artist Formerly Known as KeSHa," refuses to eat anything less than the most beautiful gourmet shrimp available, and refers to everyone else as "dahling," fluttering his eyelashes and generally being a stuck-up pain.
