Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is rather pale in color and likes to sleep while balancing on one leg.

And look! It has grown wings and is much brighter! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

User Description

If anyone were to ask Florida, being a decoration in spitfire territory isn't such a bad thing, really.  For a young, pretty pink flamingo such as she, it's rather flattering, and she makes sure she eats plenty of algae to make her hide the deepest fuchsia of all the flamingo wyvern hatchlings being asked to decorate the scroll.  After all, BD71 tells her that Florida means "flowery," and she is bound to live up to her name unlike that silly, scheming Galapagos.  But then, his name means "saddle." No wonder the spitfires make fun of him.
