Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Cheerful Stalker is infamous throughout the clan for her odd habit of following dragons that she believes are in need of "holiday cheer." She usually tries to lift their spirits through small gifts, although in extreme cases she's been known to erupt into boisterous carols. This wouldn't be much of a problem if she only did it during the holidays, but she insists that one should maintain holiday cheer all day every day, year round. To quote the clan's leader, "Things were fine at first. Just a few gifts here and there, nothing too bad. Then she started with the carols. I mean, you can only have 'Jingle Bells' screamed into your head so many times before you start to lose it."
