Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

SilverJustice is a Silver Tinsel Dragon, and his one desire in life is to protect other dragons. He is a member of the Guard in his cave, and takes his job very seriously. SilverJustice has vowed that no harm will come to any dragon in his cave—which is, of course, impossible. But SilverJustice does honor his vow by doing the best job he can. He especially loves guarding the hatchlings of his cave, because he feels like he is protecting the future of his cave by making sure no threats get close to them. His proudest day was when he fought off a wild dragon who was lurking around where the hatchlings play. Since then, the dragons of his cave have called him the "Silver Hero" and SilverJustice loves the nickname.
