Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dilios is a strong and loyal solider, only ever taking orders from the clan leader or his mate. He has a stern nature and is known to be merciless and unrelenting on the battlefield. However, he believes in fighting honourably and never engages in underhand tactics. <br/>Because of his almost military like attitude, many of the other dragons secretly refer to him as 'The Lieutenant' and the braver ones even dare each other to paint stripes on his shoulders as he sleeps.  <br/>He rarely uses his natural dark magics in battle, preferring to rely on his sharp teeth and claws to win, but when he is at a disadvantage, such as being outnumbered, he will attempt to weaken and slow down his foes to give himself a better chance.
