Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Zlyxara is often praised for her beauty, but she would be just as happy as a dark green dragon, which she believes are one of the ugliest breeds of dragon that exist. She prides herself on her cunning nature and general intelligence. For a very long time, she lived as an individual—she was abandoned by her parents at an early age, before she'd even grown frills, and she quickly learned how to defend herself.

However, nothing lasts forever. One cold night, she chanced upon a small group of dragons, and instantly took notice of a rather fierce individual by the name of Spynnicus. She fell in love instantly, a feeling rather new to her, and vowed that one day, he would be hers. It wasn't particularly easy to convince him, for he too was incredibly intelligent. But eventually, he seemed to return her affections, and the two have lived happily in this cave for a few years. However, she's not particularly fond of youngsters, and doesn't really enjoy raising children.
