Copper Dragons are masters of stealth, slipping silently and swiftly through the forests and jungles where they live. Often hunting in groups, their prey rarely know they are being stalked until the dragon’s at their throat. In the air they are agile and skilled. Copper Dragons prize family groups, spending large amounts of time teaching their young skills. So great is their love of life and family that they will sometimes adopt orphaned dragons of other breeds to raise.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Deep within the heart of the mountains this merry beast and his clan can be found, a pack of energetic and prosperous creatures who claimed a vast cavern for their own and turned it into a wonder to behold. Streams of light from shafts carved into the stone fall across flourishing gardens, marvels of gems and gold, and the hot bubbling waters of springs. It is a place where peace and plenty can be found...

If one is a dragon, at any rate.

For ages ago, when he was in his prime, this very dragon--the leader of the clan--had a human companion who was very dear to him. But dark lust and malice grew in the heart of his friend, and the dragon nearly lost both his own life and those of his kin. Bitter over what had come to pass, he vowed never again to trust the words of mortals, and any who now dare try to intrude upon his realm--or pass over the mountains within which it dwells--find nothing but biting teeth and sharp claws awaiting them.
