Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Orange Flicker is a free spirit. He will do what he wants when he wants, disregarding anyone else's needs or feelings in the matter. Even though he won't stay bound by others' wills and laws, he still has sound judgment, so usually the things he does chose to do aren't particularly bad, but often enough they aren't pleasant either. Few of the dragons enjoy his free-spirited personality, so he has become somewhat of an outcast. He is not easy to get along with, and many days he doesn't feel like getting along with anyone. His rebellious streaks have gotten him close to getting into some pretty big trouble, but he always seems to wriggle out of punishment one way or the other.
