Geode Dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Flashy and smart, Crystalized Blue, a geode dragon, is the guardian of the sleeping caverns. Appearing as a statue the majority of the time, Crystalized Blue spends most of her time thinking philosophical thoughts, while keeping an eye on any approaching body. A sister to another geode dragon by the name of Beryl Blue, Crystalized Blue spends her off time visiting her sister, who guards the sleeping caverns saved for visitors. Particularly fond of hatchlings, Blue enjoys teasing them whenever they try to find out whether she can fly or not. So far, Blue has not revealed whether she can or cannot, despite the constant begging from not only the hatchlings, but the adults. Only The Silver Lady's daughter, a silver dragoness, knows the truth and she's not telling.
