Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Selina is an expert at whipping her tail, able to hit tiny, fast-moving targets on a regular basis. She is also quite swift and evasive, almost catlike in her agility. She is very fond of cats, and several inhabit her cave, living the pampered lives that every cat should lead. She also has a strange fondness for bats, though they unnerve her just a bit. She has a weakness for shiny things, and has in the past sometimes pilfered jewelry when she has been able to get away with it (though never from anyone who can't afford the loss), but after stern lectures from older dragons whom she desires very much to please, has promised to reform.
