Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Waxw'ing is an unfriendly and silent dragon. She lives in the mountains of the Draco Sanctae avoiding the other dragons residing there at all cost. However, Waxw'ing wasn't always this way; she used to be very open and talkative. But shortly after Waxw'ing matured, she started having vivid nightmares. She was terrified by them and barely slept anymore, so that made her exceptionally angry. Waxw'ing, to ease her fright, told her fellow dragons about her nightmares, and they were horrified. The news of her terrible dreams spread all across the Draco Sanctae. Dragons began looking at her differently, like they were afraid she would open her mouth and put a curse on them. This of course was ridiculous, because Waxw'ing always had been kind and honest. Some dragons accused her of being the daughter of Siristorm and Nariala, the evilest dragons the Draco Sanctae had ever known. After that however, Waxw'ing fled to the mountains and has been there since.
