Black Tea Dragons have small scent glands on the underside of their wing arm that release a pleasant scent. Though many creatures enjoy being in the vicinity of Black Tea dragons, the scent is intended to draw in swarms of butterflies. Though Black Tea dragons are full sized dragons, these insects are the mainstay of their diet.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Z4GZG is so used to explaining that her name is pronounced "Zag-zig" and not "Zig-zag" that when a new acquaintance gets it right, she is surprised. The name fit her when she was little and would run around like a goon, but now that she's mature she tends to go in straight lines. She continued to get faster as she grew, but as an adult she has lost much of the agility she once had. She has always loved collecting things she finds in the wilderness, so she ended up as a mushroom-hunter just outside of Lloyprij. Misfitsand other mean-spirited tricksters like to tease her by calling out, "Zag-zig-zag-zig-zag-zig-zag-zig..." so that she cannot tell if they started with a 'zig' or a 'zag' and therefore whether they got her name right or not.
