Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Yezi Nonvoltz grows dozens of varieties of apples—almost as many as in the Nworset Clonal Germplasm Repository—and makes a hard cider which he markets abroad by advertising how he will teleport shipments to customers himself, minimising transportation costs and shipping times. He finds it ironic that, despite his marketing gimmick, much of his cider goes to The Hole, a bar just down the road from his orchard. Euphoriex sometimes jokes about this, saying how the apple never falls far from the tree; Yezi thinks his elder sister is misusing the metaphor.

One time, Yezi got into a misunderstanding with wh4Tr, the virtually deaf colossus. She got mad and began tearing out his apple trees. Yezi didn't know how to stop her, so he called on his friends from The Hole to help. wh4Tr hit a 'Red Delicious' x 'McIntosh' cross, which Magpiescale jumped into and began throwing apples. wh4Tr freaked out and retreated—she was not expecting the 'Empire' to strike back.
