Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Because Amber descends from magi dragons and skywing dragons, she is able to preform magic and fly exceptionally swift and agile. Flying with relative ease through dangerous storms, magic was harder for her to master. As it had taken years of training with her clan's magi dragons to master it despite her natural talent and heritage. Amber is noted in the clan for her exotic yellow copper colored stripes that seem to be curly patterned instead of zigzagged like most of the striped dragons in her clan that are related to her.
