Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kloyd loves nothing more than bringing up a fierce storm to rattle the trees, though he only does so when it won't harm his small community. Most of the time he uses his control of the weather to keep the sun out so all the dragons in the cave can stay warm, though he makes sure to bring rain to keep the plants fed. Since he loves storms so much it was only natural he'd be attracted to Whiptailed for the sound her tail makes. He also greatly admires her speed and as such felt inclined to at least attempt to court her. She immediately accepted, which surprised him. They've already started a family and Kloyd can't wait to have more kids.
