Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Redgreen  Ribbontail has always been proud of her tail, which has red ribbon-like strips that wave around a lot. She always attends to any clan meetings. She only appears around December and may stay around for a while after Christmas. During Christmas, she works with the other Christmas dragons to spread holiday cheer and help give out many gifts to young dragons and adult dragons. Ribbons were always her favorite objects and some of her clan would even make some with very pretty designs for her. During the rest of the year, she stays near snow and ice such as on a mountain. She is always reciting old stories and poems and creating new ones to tell the clan during the holidays wether it is just a tale or a real story from many years ago.
