White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Darien Dorkface is often noted for his excellent doctoring skills, especially when it concerns fish. Darien loves treating a fish for ich or fungus, and loves it even more when they live. He has already completed his studies with freshwater, tropical, and brackish fish, but he is only partially through the much more difficult marine wildlife medical research. Darien also has medical knowledge of other creatures that live in water, such as whales or seabirds, and this has allowed him to become good friends and the permanent doctor of several water dragons. Over time and from being in the water so much, Darien's feathers produce an oil that is very effective in keeping him dry and he has grown extra down feathers for keeping him warm in icy water. Darien loves being in the water, and has even found a way to use his wings for swimming without them slowing him down.
