Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Any wizard worth their wand can turn lead to gold, but it takes a true alchemist to turn fear to calm. Yadufa, one of the self-proclaimed New Alchemists, helps dragons overcome their phobias. There's been a definite learning curve for her, as several of her first clients ended up with stronger fears or were cured of one phobia only to develop another in its place. For example, Yadufa now knows that the best way to cure someone of a fear of snakes is to start with a picture of a snake, then progress through toy snakes and taxidermied snakes up to the real thing. Dropping a large boa constrictor into someone's claws, while certainly more direct, only proves counterproductive in the long run.
