Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It perfectly depicts autumn weather.
And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
This hatchling was forced out of its egg prematurely.
Fallenleaf's keeper accidentally dropped his egg when he was still developing. The egg shattered on the cold stone, leaving a tiny hatchling to tumble out. Luckily, he was matured enough to hatch, but because of the accident, he's permanently frail and sickly, and his growth has been stunted—he'll never grow any larger than a hatchling. He's much loved in the clan, and many of the adults look after him with fierce protection, knowing how much more delicate he is than the other hatchlings. Fallenleaf is quiet, and likes to sit in the autumn glades near the caves and watch the fiery rainbow of autumn leaves flutter down from the boughs.
