Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Yezza hates fighting. The sounds of war terrify her. As a young hatchling, her parents were killed in one of the most violent dragon battles the land had ever seen. Yezza, whose family had been trying to flee the battle site, had been left alone amongst the stench of dead dragons and the cries of the dying. The sounds, sights, and smell haunted her nightmares for years after she was rescued by a kind band of White dragons who had been nearby to help heal the wounded. To this day, Yezza despises warfare and will only fight when she is left no other choice.
