Dragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Adolescence is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Once they hit adolescence, hatchlings change quickly, maturing to their full forms in only 2 years.

Dragons don’t communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.

Thunder dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.

Yue may not be the eldest dragon of the pack, but he is one of the strongest. He is very fond of the other dragons in the strange pack, especially the youngsters or new additions as he helps take care of them when his owner is away. He is very good friends with Dark as Dark had helped in raising him from a hatchling and they tend to be the ones who looks after the hatchlings and watch over them, protecting the pack from predators and other threats. He will do anything in his power to protect his owner and fellow dragons. He is stoic in nature, only showing any affection to younger additions of the pack and his owner. He is usually a very calm and collected dragon and he has a lot of patience. However, when angered or threatened, he is capable of summoning catastrophic lightning storms. When enraged, many know to never engage this dragon in battle.
