White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Althea is a traditional white. As a hatchling, raised by Rem (of the moniker "nerihe") instead of a mother dragon, Althea Koraa picked up the tendency to care for the other hatchlings, always trying to heal their wounds even before she learned her magic. Now, as an adult, she takes all new hatchlings under her wings, and all the other dragons call her "Mother". She seems to be particularly fond of Lithiriz, taking him as her mate. The other dragons see this as pity, but perhaps she sees something else in the little green dragon...
