When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Drinking Methods has mastered a spell that allows her to dissolve into water. She uses this to great effect to avoid the thalassa-transformed orcas that dominate the local environment or to suddenly precipitate out of the water right in the middle of a school of delicious mackerel. She normally leads a solitary life, but when she finds a stash of unguarded treasure on the seafloor she won't pass it up. Once she has a small stash, she ventures upriver to Nworset to trade for gaia mana or water-resistant soft furnishings for her home. She lives in the main chamber of a partially-collapsed underwater temple from a previous era where the only way in or out is as a watery particulate. Fortunately, she can magically dissolve her supplies, too.

One time Drinking Methods was in Nworset, she thought she might show off her favourite spell by dissolving and going through a fine mesh. Cryofoci the choreographer didn't think the spell would be visually exciting and told her not to strain herself.
