Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Midnight is a shy and quiet dragon, who mostly keeps to himself during the few hours he is active for. However, if the hatchlings can catch him awake, he is a wonderful storyteller, and the hatchlings love his stories of what he calls the Twilight Realm, where it is never quite dusk and never quite dawn, and it hangs in a endless golden glow.

He was rescued from a clutch of abandoned dragon eggs and raised with Ciaran, who is the only dragon he really speaks to. He was the latest hatcher and grower of the four eggs Starbit took in that week, and often was teased by Incubi, who was grown up by the time he hatched. He took a mate with White Fire Zircon and they have had one son, Cubic Diamond.

His name, while seeming odd for a dragon of the dawn, comes from a saying uttered by a Dreamer "At the lonely hour of midnight, I fly, when stars are weeping. Beneath the echo of souls, my spirit sleeping."
