Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has a number of fleshy growths on its head and back.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Like all of the Greenwings Firefly can't shake the feeling that her life is overly-sweet and saccharine and would make up for great hatchie-friendly entertainment, but not exactly for an exciting existence.

Like Bonnie, Firefly feels almost invisible. Unlike her older sister, Firefly uses this "invisiblity" to escape the boredom of Greenwing life. When no one notices her anyway, she can at least stay around some interesting dragons like the clan's firefighting brigade.
