Starsinger Dragons are warm-hearted creatures who make their appearance at the start of winter. During the day, these dragons bask in the sun to absorb light into the crystals at their chest and between their horns. They will then perch high on tree tops or ledges at nightfall, where the shine of their crystals serve as a beacon for any weary travelers who have lost their way. However, these dragons are most well-known for the melodic songs they sing through the night, which can echo out for miles around in harmony with other Starsingers. These songs are often immortalized as festive carols and never fail to instill a sense of cheer and camaraderie during the holiday season.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Starsinger of Bethleham—Beth for short—lives in a vast plains where there isn't any good high ground to sing from, but she is friends with a farmer who made a super-tall grain silo which is the best vantage point around. Every year, she ascends to the top of the silo to sing. One year, some old guys on camels came by and, deciding Beth was a sign from their god, went into the farmer's barn and prostrated themselves before some baby they found there—Beth never figured out what kind of baby, but assumes it was a calf because it wasn't lambing season. She found the whole thing ridiculous. She has never met any sort of deity and doubts one would be so rude as to use somebody as a sign without at least asking first.
