Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Minerva has no little amount of intellect, which isn't surprising considering her parents, but she lacks her mother's pure scientific curiosity as well as her father's political ambitions. Minerva's big passion is teaching and she assigned herself the task of tutoring the hatchlings and finding out which are talented enough to further their studies in magic once they grow up. She has sponsored several young dragons into Delirium's academy who otherwise might have never had that chance and she doesn't even care if they are magis or not.

While her father has criticized her choices from time to time and they argue frequently, he does respect the fact that she is who she is and that she stands her ground.
