Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Esmerelda Hollyleaf is- as one of the hatchlings called her- a great green monster. But that is not the case. She is a kind hearted dragon, and would willingly breed with any male that asked her. She feels bad when hatchlings or mint dragons run away from her, because she is very kind. Only when she is really mad, and making her mad is really hard to do, does she create earth quakes and throw bolders. And boy, when she throws boulders, they move fast!
