Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Lady of Music and Beauty was rescued from a sad fate early one morning, before the sun rose to shine off her silver scales.  She remembers being brought into the weyr and placed carefully next to a faintly glowing hatchling that could've been her twin sister.  Lady of Music and Beauty grew up first, however, and soon she had her eye on the unpaired males that lived in the weyr, eager to claim a mate. She has mated with He Who Sends Rage To Burn Hearts and produced a few eggs that have been fostered to other weyrs.<br/>She likes to listen to the sounds of the weyr, especially the gentle chiming and ringing of dragon scales sliding along the floor when they come and go.  Her fondness for this is not unnoticed by the hatchlings, who eagerly jump and play to make the weyr echo with a joyful cacophony.  Even He Who Sends Rage To Burn Hearts, when he is home from hunting, will run a foreclaw down her tail to make the scales there ring like bells.
