Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Chainie knows little to no fear. She has inherited her mother's courage, and her father's empty threats have taught her not to be afraid of possibilities before they become realities. So although her mate regularly stalks the Guardian dragoness Senshi and helps her out of sticky situations, she really isn't worried about losing him. It's just some kind of hobby as far as she can tell and everyone needs a hobby after all. It's healthy that spouses don't share every bit of their life.

OK maybe his hobby isn't exactly healthy but as long as Senshi doesn't mind, she won't complain either.
