Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Shadowed Darkness is perfectly happy without a mate. A brawny warrior maid, Shadowed Darkness can never be truly happy without some kind of conflict, whether it be a fight, a war, or a verbal thrashing. While she enjoys throwing a devastating spell or two every so often, Shadowed Darkness prefers to fight with her claws, and with her fangs. Though not particularly vain, she has a deep grudge against Lavender Bloom for scaring, and nearly blinding her in a fight soon after Shadowed Darkness joined the clan. Tough and unafraid, Shadowed Darknesss only weakness appears to be an inability to know what to say to hatchlings. This in itself is unfortunate, as Shadowed Darkness secretly adores them, and seems to attract them like bees to honey.
