Dragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Adolescence is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Once they hit adolescence, hatchlings change quickly, maturing to their full forms in only 2 years.
Dragons don’t communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.
Day Glory drakes are radiant and friendly creatures that love the company of humans. They are so friendly, in fact, that they will eat food and treats right from a person’s palm. Despite their friendliness, they aren’t an easy target for predators due to their excellent flying abilities; when danger approaches, they are able to vanish within seconds. Breeding only occurs during the day when the sun is warm.
Wspanialy Giorno Fleur Codice is probably one of the oddest dragons you'll meet. A notorious thief, she is abhorred by any humans who have met her, but any new human falls in love with her cute charms. She is also very picky, and very haughty - as such, she will be treated like a queen by a certain human until they grow sick of her demands and annoying personality, where she will then steal everything of theirs that she can carry, preferably a child (a feast), and fly off.
She refuses to eat anything without it being cooked to a certain degree, and will not rest in an area unless she has twelve rocks surrounding her. Why she is so picky about temperature, no one knows, but she favors the number twelve because she tried to find a mate twelve times before she settled on Honey Face. She soon left this Ochre Drake despite this.
