Brute Dragons are among the larger dragon breeds. They prefer to live in solitude or small groups, nesting in high, mountainous regions. The only time they openly seek the company of others is during the mating season, when males will fight for the attention of females. The thunderous crash of Brute Dragons butting horns against each other in competition for mates can be heard nearly a mile away.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

His Majesty was royal by birth, as was his betrothed, Her Highness. Their parents were both rulers of noble lineage and she was to be his for life. Things went fine with their firstborn, but after it had grown Her Highness had begun to leave for hours on end. Curious, he followed her and discovered her dark secret. She had fallen in love with another dragon: a Golden Wyvern, Jack, and while he was one of the metallic breeds, his behavior suggested anything but nobility. Clumsy, bad-mannered, and a lazy, easy-going nature that didn't reflect a true royal. When His Majesty discovered his betrothed had an egg with this wyvern he waited in the shadows until she had left to hunt and then he struck, killing it. He watched as the Golden Wyvern returned and relished in his rival's mournful cries. He then laughed when the dragon had been chased off by mere humans and when his betrothed confronted him, he had her locked away. He was the ultimate victor, but Jack was coming back to finish things.
