Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Jasari is unmistakably the son of Trymest and Montondi. His personality is secretive, unpredictable, and cunning like his mother's. His image however appears more so like his father than that of his mother. Jasari is an increasingly smart dragon and seems to have inherited the best traits of both his parents' breeds. Although he is young, Burnea has already taken note of his outstanding leadership skills and has started to lead him along the path to the cave leader. No one knows her true intentions, but many other dragons in the cave say that he might just be the next cave leader after the aging White-Striped Dragon retires. Some have already begun to respect him. Jasari however enjoys spending the time with his great aunt Burnea, and does not wish for her to step down from her post of leader any time soon.
