Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of different types of mana, making them powerful magic users. Chronos are often considered to be the most elusive of all Xenowyrm subspecies: they live in the darkest and densest forests, far from civilization. They are masters of time magic, allowing them to manipulate the flow of time at will. It is said that Chrono lairs are protected by a field of magic that makes the minutes tick by at a slow pace for any unwanted visitors.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This chronos likes to slow time around unwanted intruders while he scoops them up in a net, takes them to the edge of his forest, and hangs the net within sight of a nearby village. Each time they return to his area, he hangs them on a higher branch of the tree. Most learn their lesson after getting netted on the first branch, but there was one persistent idiot who made it as high as the seventh branch.

The villagers know that anyone netted has angered the powerful nearby dragon. They require anyone found that way to perform tasks commensurate with the branch height on which they were found. First branch offenders may need only muck out the village stalls for a day, while third branch offenders may be required to do so for a full week. The seven-branch offender was given more creative tasks to do; the final task was so dangerous that it was fatal for the idiot.

Nettinmawouds appreciates the villager's help with intruders and uses his time magic to help protect them in return.
