Shallow Water Dragons are found in tropical regions where the water is warm. They use their magic to hunt, using bubbles to capture small fish and animals. Their large, webbed feet make them excellent swimmers and they are able to move at very high speeds. Due to their bright color, these dragons are easily spotted in the lagoons where they live.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Splash Tears, the first baby, and only female baby of Kain Tears and Aziris, is the very much loved Princess. She loves playing hard-to-get with the males warriors of the pack, and only those she is most fond of actually get her; of course with her fathers O.K. Currently, Bloodstars is her mate, and they love each other with a strong intensity. She can be cranky at times, but loves the babies of the pack, although she has only had one egg, with Bloodstars, but she had to give it up because there was a disease among the pack, and they found another Keeper who took it into good care. Saddened, she tried and tried again with Bloodstars, longing for an egg of her own, but no egg was ever produced.
