Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Good Cheer is like most Christmas dragons, perpetually cheerful and full of Christmas spirit, perhaps annoyingly so, but he is different from most Yulebucks in one way. He has a strange obsession with flying. From the time he hatched, he always wished to soar the skies. The other dragons told him that was impossible because he had leaves for wings, but he didn't give up hope. One day, he decided to prove all these other dragons wrong. In an attempt to fly, he jumped off a cliff and tried to flap his 'leaf wings'. Surprisingly, he crashed to the ground. Its just too bad he couldn't defy the laws of physics. Good Cheer was not deterred from his mission after the crash. He still firmly believes that someday, with a little Christmas magic, he will fly like Santa's reindeer. He even dreams of helping pull Santa's sleigh someday. Nobody has bothered to tell him that Santa Claus doesn't exist, the poor guy. The other dragons let him continue on having his delusive fantasies.
