Copper Dragons are masters of stealth, slipping silently and swiftly through the forests and jungles where they live. Often hunting in groups, their prey rarely know they are being stalked until the dragon’s at their throat. In the air they are agile and skilled. Copper Dragons prize family groups, spending large amounts of time teaching their young skills. So great is their love of life and family that they will sometimes adopt orphaned dragons of other breeds to raise.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

All Copper dragons are quick and quiet hunters, but this male is a prodigy among an already prodigious breed, his stalking skills second-to-none. Unfortunately for his pack, however, he's also a giant goofball who finds pouncing on his comrades to be far more fun than hunting. More than one sleepy little hatchling has been trundling along to bed only to have the adult Copper burst out above them from nowhere, roaring and snarling, setting the babies to screaming--and the dragon himself to rolling about laughing. Adult dragons aren't immune to his efforts, either, and more than one poor kinsmen of his has all but leapt out of their scales thanks to his pranks. But even if he is mischievous, he's gentle and affectionate at heart, and often makes it up to the most terrified of his victims by hunting down some real prey for them to snack on.

When not busy terrifying people, he can often be found teaching the babies of the pack how to hunt... often by using passerby as targets. Figures.
