Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Jozxyqk is a bit of a...slow dragon. Something appears to have gone very wrong with his wiring. He is quick to anger, slow to calm down, and seems incapable of rational argument. He is not one for conversation; though he can talk, he prefers to roar, making it doubly important that he is never riled. The other dragons steer well clear of him, scared he will use Earthquake in a rage and kill some valuable eggs.

The story behind his name is a curious one. While most dragons in the Marble Cup Cavern are named descriptively, his name comes from the roaring sound that most commonly comes from his throat. This noise is made when someone, usually Jozxyqk himself, stands on his tail: "JOZXYQK!" He also has an inexplicable love of cats.
