Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Arctic Sunset (Arctic) is named after the white and orange stripes that tangle around his body. He is one of the winter hunters of the herd meaning that his position is to hunt and find food for the herd in the winter season. During the spring, summer and fall, Arctic has most of the time to himself and often finds odd jobs around the camp to do to occupy himself. Once a week, however, he disappears with his mate Dancer of the Purple Moon to a small moonlit cove in the middle of the lake that is in the herd territory. He adorns her with gold and silver to show his affection. This action usually results in an egg being brought into the world. Arctic feels guilty for the pain that Dancer of the Purple Moon must go through in order to bring his egg into the world, but she never seems to mind. Arctic hopes that there are many more eggs to come.
