Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Billy feels a great sense of loyalty to his clan and placed its well-being above his own. Billy apparently has magnetoception, a sense which allows him to detect a magnetic field to perceive direction, altitude, or location. This sense has been proposed to explain his incredible navigational abilities. For the purpose of navigation, magnetoception deals with the detection of the Earths magnetic field. This also allows Billy to quickly solve mazes, mists, stormy weathers, changing roads while he still knows where he is. Because of his talent, Billy functions in the clan as a navigator when entering newfound territory for his clan. Billy is sometimes described by his fellow clan members as being to cautious, protective and passionate. Billy's most notable feature are the lines around his eyes that are turned up at the ends.
