And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young drakes are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own.

This hatchling is a loudmouth. Together with a bunch of like-minded Drakes, he joined a mercenary Drake group called Colonial Marines. The Colonial Marines take much pride in the sharpness of their claws and application of brute force to solve any problem where a more tactical approach would be in order.

The Colonial Marines are usually hired to deal with serious security threats to outpost caves, but also to perform bughunts. The platoon's latest assignment will lead them to check out Cave LV-426, a scientific mission to provide new living grounds for dragonkind. Not long ago, the Weiland-Yutani clan, performing the dragoforming process, lost communication with LV-426. Reconnaissance provided by Ellen Ripley, a skywing flight officer hired as consultant, indicates that a xenomorph may be responsible for problems (or else said, it's a bughunt).

Ripley seems to be a bit scared to return to LV-426, but hey: Hudson and his squad of ultimate badasses will protect her!
