Thunder Dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Allia lives very closely to her mother; too close, some might say, but in honesty, it's for the best. The memories of Ancient Ones strike her frequently and often, presenting images and scenes without context. Some are happy, or seem to be. Flashes of mighty thunders of dragons, coexisting peacefully despite the frequent inconsequential fights. Humans wandering among them; not Raisers as Recila is, but simple people living among them—some serve, some behave as equals. There are no true superiors.

Some are worse. An Avatar of Change, madness turning his mind into a screaming cacophony of half-formed thoughts and ideas. One of Destruction, fear overruling control over his element, his presence reducing anything nearby to ashes in the wind. War—so much war, intermingled with pleas and faces dull with realization that they can't win. The Great One's sacrifice.

Lately, the worse visions are more frequent. Allia is certain that without Gaia, she may have gone mad with them herself.
