Crimson Flare Pygmies are named after their small size and speed. They are fast and love to fly up and down in steep climbs and dives, giving the impression of a flare of color in the sky. These dragons travel in swarms during migration seasons and are very social. They live in tropical locations or wherever it is warm, and they are often seen near active volcanoes.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.

User Description

Betrayal, Neglected, Forgotten. It seems that's Alil destiny, to be nothing more than a shadow. His "friends", if he could even call them that, used him and his kind nature to get ahead. His so-called family never really cared what he did. His accomplishments were greeted by the same "Good job, Alil." Not once did they ever really take notice that he finished as one of the top students at Hatchling Academy. Or that he is one of the most successful of the family, intellectually. No, all they cared about was their precious sparing stars, their fighters, their over muscled twits! And yet, Alil just can't make himself hate them. He just can't. They might not be the ideal, but at least he can say that he loved. However, all the scars they left, those can't be healed. Alil may love, but he cannot trust anyone. They will just use Alil, like all the others. Then, once they are done, toss him aside, leaving Alil to pick up the pieces of his shattered soul. Not the ideal, no. But, it's a life.
