When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kasumi is an adventurous water dragon, she is very curious being and wish to experience everything she can. That is why she rarely seen staying near the cave where the group stays, preferring to journeying around the world especially around human establishment although she usually covers herself in shroud of mist as to not raise suspicion from the humans. In the occasional times when she goes back to the group, she always shower everyone with the interesting tales that she experience along her journey. In battle, her tactic usually consist of ambushing her enemy by surprise using her natural blue color which makes her extremely hard to detect while underwater before "jumping" over the water and drag them into her territory where her breed reign supreme.
