Dragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Adolescence is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Once they hit adolescence, hatchlings change quickly, maturing to their full forms in only 2 years.

Dragons don’t communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.

Terrae dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Glomper is so named for being the leader of a large group of Terraes that meet up every couple of months. The whole group consists of Terraes which is so named because they glomp each other during the meetings.

This glomper however is brave and loves exploring. He is nice to all of the hatchlings, teaching them the things they need to be an adult.

Sadly, though, the glompers frown on Glomper slightly for having a mate that isn't a Terrae. but as he proves to be a capable leader of their little group, they don't release him from his high position.
