Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Icicles keep forming on its body, but it doesn’t seem to be bothered by the cold.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

SilentIceMoon is a very young Ice Dragon. He's just learning to hunt with his icy breath. Though he isn't up to chasing down prey and hasn't grown his wings yet, his parents bring him severely injured animals for him to practice on. SilentIceMoon has frozen a dying rabbit and an injured mouse so far. The bird his mother thought was dying was actually just in shock and flew away.
