Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Practically the polar opposite of Ratna the Avaricious, Volos the Greedy is as vain as a dragon can get. He always sits where he believes he would look the most beautiful, and everything he says is accented with a flick of his tail. More than once he has unintentionally smacked another dragon while doing this, but he sees no problem with that. It just means that dragon was privileged to be touched by him. While he is endlessly annoying, he is also endlessly entertaining with his inflated sense of self-importance, which is highly regarded as the reason why he's kept around. He also has a massive amount of gold, which is considered valuable to the clan. Volos claims that the gold he gets are gifts from "admirers," but everyone in the Ruda Clan knows that's a blatant lie. Volos has no admirers and never will. He goes out several nights a month to look for gold to gift to himself.
