Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Rialu Spellweaver is a master of "prepared magic"—the art of binding spells to an object, like a twig or a pebble, so that they can then be released with a specific phrase or gesture.  No magic is needed to activate a spell prepared in this way, just the gesture or phrase the spell is keyed to, and so Rialu's work is very popular with humans with no magic of their own.

Rialu, unlike some other magi dragons who trade with humans, doesn't try to cultivate an elaborate persona or boast about his skill with magic—he feels that his prepared spells should speak for themselves.  Elaborate performances with shoddy work never draw repeat clients, he believes, but good quality workmanship will build a reputation lasting well beyond the maker's lifetime.  Rialu is always working to further perfect his execution of prepared magic—trying to bind multiple spells to one object, for example, or seeking ways to bind a spell so that it can be used more than once.
