And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Like Guardian of Love, Keeper of Faith has a philosophy by which he lives and helps others. It is his belief that faith the size of a mustard grain can help anyone endure the onslaught of trouble that life likes to deal out. The other dragons of the cave are often amazed at the tiny dragon's ability to believe in what he cannot see, and how such a little creature is willing to face each obstacle in life, no matter how large it may be. He simply quotes something he read in a holy book: "Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for and the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld." Along with his big sister, Guardian of Love, he inspires his fellow dragons to believe that things will get better, and that they are not alone when facing trials.
